Concerts reports 2005/2006

On 17th and 18th of December we performed in Reduta Shopping Centre (Warsaw) and Silesia City Shopping Centre (Katowice). Those two Christmas concerts became really challenging, because we knew that our public came there to do their shopping, not to listen to gospel music. After long consideration we decided that it is much easier to perform for people who deliberately come to our concerts, yet the good news should be preached to all people and everybody should get a chance to hear it, because for Him there are no good and bad places, good and bad people. We are equally important, regardless of our origins, financial situation and our sins. It is not our task to decide for whom we should be singing, since we are only tools in His hands and we have been appointed to preach His gospel. So we accepted the challenge and to our great surprise, the people stayed with us throughout both of our performances. They stayed and listened, some of them clapped their hands and sang with us, which was our greatest reward, because:

Isaiah 55; 6-13

6 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. 8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. 9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. 12 You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thornbush will grow the pine tree, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the LORD's renown, for an everlasting sign, which will not be destroyed."

Dear friends!

We are pleased to welcome you after the holiday brake, which let us take a rest and fill up with strength for the next year of our job. We missed you and we missed this powerful music, which gives new meanings. We are grateful to the Lord for all of His gifts; for his help, His Spirit He gave us, we are grateful that we can sing and praise Him with our joyful voices, we are grateful that He makes us meet His witnesses, who help us in our job and in our testimonials. It is our privilege and our joy to participate in His love. That is why we are ready to act and we have already had a chance to meet you on October 15th during the Fifth Meeting of the Youth in Cracow, when we could sing a final concert on the Christian Music Review. Another one concert took place on October 20th in one of the churches as a part of Week of Gospel in Cracow.  We sang it together wit Siemacha Gospel Choir, conducted by one of our altos – Ania Wlodarska. We are glad, young people with their wonderful hearts have loved that gospel music. Another one eventful day was October 22nd, when firstly some of us sang on a ceremony of marriage ours alto – Ula – friends, and then we had a concert as a part ort of Volunteers Days – Youth Forum, organized by Salesian Missionary Voluntary Service. Finally we got to the Seventh Gospel Workshops in Cracow, where we performed during choirs’ review.

What we experienced and saw is not to describe, you have to take part in that to this to understand. The Holy Spirit fulfilled each heart, our songs was flowing from our hearts straightly to the Lords throne. It was amazing how people prayed with their hands raise, their eyes full of tears, their hearts opened and touched! We experienced God’s love and the presence of Holy Spirit. It was a time of joy and peace, prayer, singing and dancing for the Lord. Had it not been for all of you, it would not happen at all. We are glad that you are with us, to sing, dance and worship God together!

Concerts reports 2004/2005

On the 12th of March we celebrated our "third birthday". The performance took place in Restaurant Wyspianski, Art Club in Cracow. It was an incredible time, filled with the Holy Spirit. Not only did we sing and dance, but also gave out testimonies about God's presence in our lifes and the way He can change our hearts. We also said about the way, that personal experience of singing in the choir had changed the world we lived in. For the choir makes us sure, that there are people who loves you, just because you exist, there are people who help one another, there are people to make you laugh, hold you tight or just to be by your side when you need it. Than you know, that you are not alone and that you have to do nothing to "pay" for that care and love.
The way, that God saves us from the world of money, fighting for succes and materialism, is unbelievable.
God uses music to touch our hearts and hearts of those, who listen to it
And we are grateful for possibility to share our joy with our brothers, and to be witnesses of God's magnificence and goodness.
Joyful Voice it is not just the choir, performing music. It is a place, where we can improve our skills, fight with shyness, feel that we are someone special and beloved. This is God's dwelling.

After holidays and the time of rest and renewing our strength we came back to see one another on 19th of September to start new amazing year of singing for the glory of Who had created this whole beatiful world and had given us voices and hearts filled with His Spirit and desire to praise His holy name. The concert took place in the Culture Centre Dworek Białoprądnicki, where we had been invited by our friends from Radio ART. We could participate in Concert inaugarating the establishment of this radio. Aside from us there were also The Willows Revival Singers, Krakowska Grupa Bluesowa (Cracow Blues Group) and others.

After such wonderful season's opening we were invited to sing at charity ceremony for University Hospital for Children in Cracow-Prokocim. Concert took place in Cracow, at Rynek Główny, on 20th of September. It was time full of His Spirit and His power, when we could praise God and touch hearts of those who were listening to us and even for a while we could take them out from their grey and hard lifetime and give them a bit of joy and happiness...

... because gospel music is filled with Holy Spirit, peace and healing, it has power to move the mountains and makes that even most stoned heart is moved in the face of God's power, which is in gospel. This year will bring everyone of us many wonderful and marvelous moments. Be with us so we could spend this time together...
